Lorraine Bruno Arsenault’s sense of poetry grew from her love of music. Her first job as a youngster was creating a library of vinyl records used in her family's jukebox business. As an undergrad, she traveled on a ship around the world where she became fascinated with Japanese meditation gardens. Today, she’s a mom, businesswoman, yoga teacher, poet, author and energy healer. Her writings often reflect her belief that there is more to life than what’s before our eyes. Her work has appeared in Chicken Soup for the Soul, Comstock Review and Healing Muse. She co-edited In the Company of Women an Anthology Commemorating the 90th Anniversary of the CNY Branch of the NLAPW and is the author of The Long Run Home (Foothills Publishing.) She lives in New York State with her husband and a happy, big black dog.
