Arthur Ramer

Arthur Ramer grew up in NYC area. His passion was the arts-music, visual art and poetry since he was a child. He moved to upstate NY and co-founded Sushi Blues & BBQs with his wife, Candi. He attended the Colgate Writers Conference multiple times. Sushi Blues hosted Monday Night Poetry at Sushi Blues, a poetry feature and open mic founded by Rachael Ikins.. He won the Hudson Valley Poetry Prize 2008. He was a member of the Earlville Writers, the Canastota Writing Group and his passion, besides poetry was mentoring students and sharing ideas. He died unexpectedly in a car accident June 21, 2013.
